Neymar could make it four games in a row for Santos after eight months | OneFootball

Neymar could record his first sequence of four consecutive matches for Santos in eight months.

According to Diario Do Peixe, the No 10 is in the matchday squad to face Coritiba in the Copa do Brasil. Kick-off is at 19:30 on Wednesday at Vila Belmiro, and he could feature.

In 2025 he made 51 appearances from his re-debut through to the final round of the Brasileirão.

He played seven times in the Paulistão without building a sustained sequence. In the league he put together seven consecutive outings, or eight if a friendly against Desportiva Ferroviária is included. Those were his longest runs.

Injuries also left him out for stretches of four, six and seven matches.

This season Santos have played 23 games, and he only reappeared in mid-February after recovering from an arthroscopy. Since then he has been available for 13 fixtures. His current best sequence is three, and a fourth could come if he plays against Coritiba.
