Neymar included as Santos name squad for UCV play-off second leg | OneFootball

Neymar has been named in Santos' squad for Tuesday's Copa Sudamericana play-off second leg against Venezuelan side UCV at Vila Belmiro, kick-off 21:30.

According to Diario Do Peixe, compared with the Chapecoense match, goalkeeper Diógenes returns to the list because João Paulo is not registered for this phase, and forward Moisés replaces Caballero, who is also ineligible. João Paulo and Caballero could be registered if Santos reach the last 16.

Other notable inclusions are goalkeeper Gabriel Brazão, centre-back Lucas Veríssimo, midfielder Gabriel Bontempo and forwards Gabriel Barbosa and Rollheiser.

With the full squad available, head coach Cuca is expected to select a rotated side. Santos won the first leg 4-1 and can afford a defeat by up to two goals and still progress.

Santos squad to face UCV includes goalkeepers Gabriel Brazão and Diógenes, full-backs Igor Vinícius, Gabriel Menino and Escobar, and centre-backs Lucas Veríssimo, Luan Peres, João Ananias and Adonis Frías. Midfield options are João Schmidt, William Arão, Christian Oliva, Gabriel Bontempo, Samuel Pierri, Neymar, Rollheiser, Miguelito and Barreal. The forwards are Gabriel Barbosa, Thaciano, Robinho Jr, Rony and Moisés.
