In an interview with CNN Sports, Neymar talked about the prospect of a potential reunion with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, having been linked with a move to Inter Miami.
“Obviously, playing again with (Lionel) Messi and (Luis) Suarez would be incredible,” he told CNN.
“They are my friends. We still speak to each other. It would be interesting to revive this trio. I’m happy at Al Hilal, I’m happy in Saudi Arabia, but who knows? Football is full of surprises.
“When the news came out that I was leaving Paris Saint-Germain, the transfer window was closed in the United States, so I didn’t have this option,” he added.
Neymar’s iconic partnership with Messi and Suarez at Barcelona, fondly known as ‘MSN’, is still regarded as one of the deadliest attacking combinations to ever grace the pitch.
The three pair could potentially get reunited at Inter Miami, where Messi and Suarez could continue for one more year.
Neymar, meanwhile, is contracted to Al Hilal until the summer of 2025, after which he will be free to choose his next destination.

Cristiano Ronaldo has received major flak across the European footballing fraternity when he called the Saudi Arabian league as a better league compared to Ligue 1.
However, Ronaldo has now received backing from a fellow Saudi League player in the form of Neymar.
Neymar explained why he believes Ligue 1 has grown inferior compared to the Saudi Pro League, having played in both leagues.
“Today, I think it is,” the Brazilian said. “The level of the Saudi Pro League is increasing and, from what I see, it’s better than Ligue 1. Ligue 1 has its positives. The league is very strong. I played in it, so I know this well.“
“Today, the players in the Saudi Pro League are better. Saudi Arabia has surprised me in a positive way. The people, the country, the cities, the culture. I think it’s a country that’s continually growing,” he added.
Neymar moved to Saudi Arabia in the summer of 2023, joining Al Hilal. However, during his 18-month spell in the country so far, the forward has been able to make only seven competitive appearances.
In contrast, the Brazilian had made 173 appearances in France with Paris Saint-Germain across six years.
