N'Golo Kanté has completed his medical with Fenerbahçe, putting a move within reach. Its knock-on effects are linked to situations involving Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to L'Équipe, Youssef En-Nesyri is due to head the other way and join Al-Ittihad after accepting a move and reaching agreement with Sergio Conceição's side.

To validate the Moroccan's arrival, Al-Ittihad first need assurance that Benzema will leave the club. The 2022 Ballon d'Or winner's transfer is not yet official, and a new factor has emerged, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Like Benzema, Ronaldo has stepped back from Al-Nassr for now. He believes the club's recruitment falls short of his ambitions.

The report says he is applying pressure on the Public Investment Fund, the Saudi government-backed body that finances the biggest clubs and approves incoming deals across the league.

He feels PIF are not showing enough interest in Al-Nassr, and hopes this stance will unlock extra, previously unplanned funding for the Riyadh club.
