Nice’s Kevin Carlos targeted by Samsunspor | OneFootball

OGC Nice’s Kevin Carlos (25) is reportedly on Samsunspor’s radar, according to L’Équipe. A deal in the form of a loan with an option to buy is even said to be under consideration.

However, whilst Nice are not ruling out such a move, the biggest challenge could well be convincing the Spanish striker, who is keen to prove his worth in one of Europe’s top five leagues.

Signed last summer from FC Basel for €6m, Carlos has had a difficult first season on French soil. Having made 35 appearances across all competitions, the Ceuta-born player has only been decisive on three occasions, scoring two goals and providing one assist.

Having come through the ranks at SD Huesca, the forward has played for Real Betis, Yverdon Sport and, most recently, FC Basel, where he found the net 15 times in 40 matches, before joining the Côte d’Azur club, with whom he remains under contract until 2030.
