Niko Kovac says Jobe Bellingham has made strong strides at Borussia Dortmund since joining from Sunderland, praising his professionalism and growing sharpness.

According to BuLi News, the 20-year-old has started the last eight games across all competitions after taking time to adapt to a new league and country.

"He is physically much fitter than he was in the summer. He acts much faster now. He is a complete professional," Kovac said at a press conference on Thursday.

"You can see that he plays more or less every minute at the moment. He certainly still has room to grow, but I am very satisfied with his current level."

With Marcel Sabitzer back from injury, competition in midfield has increased, but Bellingham remains in contention to start at RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
