No chance for ManCity! Bayern rejects Guardiola transfer

Aleksandar Pavlovic has become an integral part of FC Bayern. Nevertheless, top European clubs are putting out feelers for him and Munich have already made their position clear, with Manchester City in particular clearly rejecting him.

The midfielder has been one of the defining figures at the record champions this season and has played his way into the international limelight with consistently strong performances. It is therefore not surprising that two heavyweights, Real Madrid and Manchester City, have expressed their interest.

However, this interest never became more concrete. BILD’s head of soccer Christian Falk made it clear: „There was no offer, no discussion with the advisor and no discussion with the club. The Munich management team led by sporting director Max Eberl thus signaled early on that a transfer was not an issue.

Regardless of the latest developments, there has long been clarity internally. The 21-year-old is regarded as one of the big winners of the season and has firmly established himself in Munich’s midfield. It was previously reported that neither the player himself nor those close to him were considering a move.

Pavlovic fully identifies with FC Bayern

This attitude is no coincidence: Pavlovic has been at FC Bayern since his childhood and identifies strongly with the club. According to those close to him, he feels extremely comfortable in Munich, which is also reflected in his sporting development. Christian Falk underlined this close bond once again: „But he is a Munich man. He loves Bayern Munich.“ A departure is therefore currently out of the question – neither from a sporting nor a personal point of view.

„He loves this club and I don’t think he would leave, especially as FC Bayern is so good at the moment. They have one of the best teams in Europe, perhaps even the best in Europe. He is a big part of it, so why would he leave?“ the insider continued.

FC Bayern is also in a comfortable contractual situation, with Pavlovic still under contract until 2029 and therefore part of the core of the squad for the long term.
