Heerenveen beat Go Ahead Eagles 3-1 at De Adelaarshorst, with Lasse Nordas scoring twice to turn the game around as Robin Veldman's side climbed from 12th to ninth in the Eredivisie.
In the 54th minute, Julius Dirksen headed the hosts ahead from a Jakob Breum corner. Nordas levelled from close range (58.), then swept in a second after Maxence Rivera's pass (68.). Jacob Trenskow finished Rivera's cut-back to seal it (81.).
Jari de Busser kept the Supereagles in it before the break with a string of saves. At the other end, Bernt Klaverboer denied Victor Edvardsen soon after the restart.
After Søren Tengstedt came on at the interval, the hosts created chances down the left, but Rivera's influence told for the visitors with two assists in the decisive spell.
There were first half pauses for treatment to Evert Linthorst and Dirksen, adding to a scrappy rhythm before the late flurry of goals.
Heerenveen registered 19 attempts with 10 on target. Go Ahead Eagles produced 12 efforts, five on target.
Next, the Supereagles visit Feyenoord. Heerenveen host PEC Zwolle.
