Norwich City ‘approach’ Hoffenheim for US-born youngster Fields | OneFootball

TSG Hoffenheim have rejected Norwich City’s approach for Germany U19 international Jykese Fields.

According to Sky Sports, Norwich City contacted the Bundesliga club regarding the 19-year-old striker, but Hoffenheim have no intention of sanctioning a permanent transfer, and clubs in Belgium and Denmark are monitoring his situation.

Fields is yet to play for Hoffenheim’s first team, but he recently signed a contract extension to 2030.

The US-born forward scored two goals in 11 Germany U19 appearances and helped the team reach the U19 Euros final in Wales last month.

He hit 18 goals last season as Hoffenheim were crowned Germany U19 champions.
