Football League World's Norwich City fan pundit shares their thoughts on the potential loan addition of Anthony Musaba this summer
Norwich City have added just three fresh faces to their ranks this summer under Philippe Clement, and as the Canaries target a place in the top eight this year, more will be required between now and the end of the window, especially after recent news, with one seemingly on their way to Carrow Road imminently.
Clement has done an excellent job at Norwich since taking charge in November 2025, and as the former Rangers and Monaco boss looks to continue to stamp his authority, more bodies are expected through the doors in Norfolk before the deadline.
Sam Field, Andre Brooks, Darlin Yongwa, and Bruno Alves have all penned deals with the club, the latter being an initial loan, though with the recent injury blow to Ali Ahmed, another option on that left flank has quickly become a priority for the Canaries.
It has been revealed that Ahmed has ruptured his ACL in a pre-season friendly with Osasuna, with the Canadian expected to miss the entirety of the next campaign, as an alternative has already seemingly been found.

According to Pete O'Rourke via X, Norwich have agreed a deal to sign former Sheffield Wednesday winger Anthony Musaba on loan for the campaign, with the Dutchman falling out of favour at the Turkish giants.
Musaba, 25, spent time with the likes of Vitesse, NEC Nijmegen, Cercle Brugge, Monaco, Heerenveen, and Metz before his move to Hillsborough in the summer of 2023.
He spent two years with the Owls, scoring 12 and assisting 11 in 80 appearances across all competitions for the South Yorkshire outfit before securing a move to Turkish outfit Samsunspor last summer, as Fenerbahce would pick him up just six months later.
Now, after half a year in Istanbul, Musaba appears to be on the verge of a return to the United Kingdom with Norwich, where he will reunite with former Monaco boss Clement.

Football League World's Norwich fan pundit, Zeke Downes, has shared their thoughts on the potential addition of Musaba on loan following the injury to Ahmed, and whether it is a deal they are happy with.
Zeke said: "I think as a loan signing, I think it works really well. It's quite good that he has EFL experience, especially Championship experience.
"A lot of our signings that have worked are the ones that have had EFL experience, because they don't take as long to obviously get used to how it is in the EFL.
"His numbers aren't too worrying in that it was a struggling team, and it's quite hard to have the output that you'd like in a team that's obviously rock bottom of the league. So I think we can look past that and, hopefully, with players that are better around him, then it should bring out the qualities that we'd be looking for.
"I know that he is very fast and direct. So that's the type of winger that we would be looking for. And the fact that Clement has worked with him, I trust that, if he wants him, then sure, I want him as well.
"Hopefully this one happens, and he can start quite quickly. Although I did hear that he might have had an injury as well. So, hopefully, that's not like the other injuries in our squad."

Norwich opened their Championship campaign with a controversial 2-1 home defeat at the hands of West Bromwich Albion, courtesy of an Aune Heggebo goal as the ball appeared to have come off his arm before finding the back of the net, sparking a furious reaction from the home support.
Ahmed's long-term injury swiftly emphasised the need for a short-term replacement on that left flank at Carrow Road, with that being prevalent in their defeat to West Brom, as Musaba has been identified as that player.
With just two weeks to go until the deadline, the clock is ticking for business to be done, as Clement will certainly be hoping for further additions across the board between now and then.
