Norwich City defender nearing return and striker set to be involved against Middlesbrough

Norwich City boss Philippe Clement says Lucien Mahovo is making good progress in his recovery from injury and could return to full training during the international break.

The defender remains unavailable for the Canaries but has continued to increase his workload as he works towards a return.

“Week by week he’s doing more things,” Clement said.

“If everything goes well and he keeps making the right steps, then I expect him during the international window to come back into the group training sessions.”

Mo Toure, meanwhile, is expected to return to the Canaries squad against Middlesbrough having been rested against Birmingham City.
