The only thing more annoying than seeing Chelsea get stupid yellow and red cards for fouls is seeing Chelsea get stupid yellow and red cards for dissent.

Pedro Neto getting a yellow for dissent then a second yellow for a foul 3 minutes later was one of the most frustrating moments of the season. The pure stupidity to do two things like that in quick succession

Sometimes you can let off a player for a foul, but there is no excuse for dissent, ever.

Chelsea “need to do something”

Speaking after the game, Liam Rosenior

“Possibly something [needs to be done about dissent]. We need to do something, for sure.

“I need to speak to the coaching staff, the staff around the club, the players, because it’s not acceptable. Especially the last two games, we’ve caused our own issues, even here against a very good team. You can see there’s a lot of good in our play. There’s a lot of good technically, tactically, the quality of our play. But if we don’t eradicate this, it’s going to be the thing that costs us.

In other news…

The refereeing at set pieces was crazy today, but Liam Rosenior refused to blame his team’s failures in defending on them.

Rosenior also spoke about his team’s big problem with discipline, which continues to haunt them.

Reece James also spoke after the game, and was gutted about some of the silly mistakes his team had made.
