According to Sky Sport Germany (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), the Italian capital side is tracking another out-of-contract Bundesliga player in Omar Traore. The 28-year-old is a German right-back of Togolese origins.

The Osnabrück native began his career at his hometown club. After various experiences in the lower divisions of German football, he signed for Heidenheim in January and established himself as a staple at the club. This season, he has made 24 appearances in the Bundesliga thus far, providing two assists.

Valencia & Union Berlin Join Lazio in the Race for Traore

As the source explains, Traore isn’t expected to sign a new contract with his current employers, so he should become a free agent at the end of the season.
