Nottingham Forest add Leverkusen and Brest friendlies to pre-season | OneFootball

Nottingham Forest have added two home friendlies to their pre-season, taking the number of announced games to six.

The club said in a statement that ticketing and streaming details, along with the full pre-season schedule, will be confirmed in due course. A Portugal training camp, with matches against Blackburn Rovers, Vitoria de Guimaraes and Sporting Lisbon, had already been set.

Forest visit Notts County at Meadow Lane on Saturday, July 18, 3pm BST. They then face Blackburn Rovers at Estadio de Nora on Wednesday, July 22, 11am BST.

A game with Vitoria will be played behind closed doors on Sunday, July 26. Sporting Lisbon follow at Estadio Algarve on Friday, July 31, KO TBC.

The City Ground hosts Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday, August 12, 7.45pm, then Stade Brestois on Sunday, August 16, 2pm.

Oliver Glasner is expected to lead the programme, with the former Crystal Palace boss set to take over after the surprise dismissal of Vitor Pereira. The club have not confirmed Pereira’s sacking, although he issued a statement on Wednesday referring to the end of his journey as head coach.

Glasner will get a full pre-season with his squad. Forest start the 2026/27 Premier League at home to Leeds United on August 22.
