Nottingham Forest confirm team for Midtjylland Europa League decider | OneFootball

Vitor Pereira has named his Nottingham Forest side for the Europa League last 16 second leg at FC Midtjylland.

As reported by Nottingham Post, the head coach had said he would weigh selection with Sunday’s Premier League trip to Tottenham Hotspur in mind. Forest trail 1-0 from the first leg at the City Ground, where they created chances amid torrential rain but could not score.

Midtjylland also won 3-2 in the league phase, so Forest are out to avoid a hat-trick of defeats while chasing a quarter-final place.

Pereira makes nine changes from Sunday’s 0-0 draw with Fulham, with Nikola Milenkovic and Nicolas Dominguez the only players to keep their places.

Forest look set to line up with a back three of Zach Abbott, Milenkovic and Morato ahead of goalkeeper Stefan Ortega, with Omari Hutchinson and Dan Ndoye as wing-backs.

Dominguez partners Ryan Yates in midfield, James McAtee and Dilane Bakwa support striker Lorenzo Lucca.

Substitutes are Sels, Willows, Neco Williams, Murillo, Ibrahim Sangare, Elliot Anderson, Morgan Gibbs-White, Igor Jesus, Ola Aina, Whitehall, Sinclair and Hanks.
