Nottingham Forest could generate about £186m from up to seven sales as they fine-tune Vitor Pereira’s squad, with quality over quantity the guiding principle.
According to Nottingham Post, an Elliot Anderson switch to Manchester City could set a British record, surpassing the £125m paid for Alexander Isak. City have already failed with two bids, including £121m, and Forest are seeking £130m. A July deal would place any income in the 2026/27 accounts.
Defender Nicolo Savona is close to Atalanta for £12-13m after Roma interest, while David Carmo could rejoin Olympiacos for £5-7m, potentially above £8m with add-ons. Talks have also taken place with Eintracht Frankfurt over Arnaud Kalimuendo, with the £23m option viewed as high and a total near £17m discussed. Using cautious figures for those three, plus £130m for Anderson, yields roughly £164m.
Further sales are possible, with Jota Silva valued at £8.5m, Omar Richards at £1.7m and Morato at £12m, which would take potential income to about £186.2m.
Reinvestment could target midfield if Anderson departs. Options mentioned include Lucas Bergvall at £45-50m and Davide Frattesi at £25m, with Forest aiming nearer £21.5m. Raoul Bellanova £21.5m, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Arthur Theate £17m and Santiago Castro £34.5m would take that notional spend to £148m, with James Trafford £21.5m lifting it to £169.5m.
