Nottingham Forest are braced for defensive exits, with Nicolo Savona in talks over a return to Italy and David Carmo also edging towards a move. Midfield target Davide Frattesi remains under consideration.
Il Giorno reports Atalanta are close to signing Savona, with negotiations progressing quietly and a deal that could be finalised for €14-15 million (£12-13m). The 23-year-old is fit again after a knee injury, and Roma had also been linked. The report adds his arrival would free Raoul Bellanova to leave.
Fulham are most strongly linked with Bellanova, valued at about €25m (£21.5m), and there is no suggestion of a Savona swap. Forest, who paid about £13m for Savona last summer, would need to strengthen at right-back if he departs.
Sportime says talks with Olympiacos are entering the final stretch, with the defender viewed as pivotal and the Greeks prepared to pay a sensational fee. The figure is put at £5-7m, potentially rising beyond £8m with bonuses. Carmo, signed for a reported £10m from Porto in 2024, has had loans at Olympiacos and Real Oviedo and has not debuted competitively for Forest.
Tuttomercatoweb claims Forest are intensifying contact for Frattesi and could make a decisive move, with Inter valuing him near €30m (£25m). Football Italia says Forest are readying €25m (£21.5m) plus add-ons, while the player is awaiting Serie A offers. Tottenham’s Lucas Bergvall is another midfield option under consideration.
