Nottingham Forest Keeping Close Eye On Tottenham Hotspur Man | OneFootball

Nottingham Forest are closely monitoring the situation of Tottenham Hotspur hitman Dominic Solanke, amid suggestions he could depart N17 this summer.

Solanke arrived at Spurs from fellow Premier League side Bournemouth in the summer of 2024 and put pen to paper on a six-year deal with the club.

However, the move has not worked out according to plan, as the striker has not had the desired impact, along with Spurs having back to back disastrous seasons in the Premier League.

With the summer transfer window in full swing, Spurs have signed several players to bolster their squad, but boss Roberto De Zerbi will also need to manage departures.

There has been little to suggest Solanke will be leaving, but a departure is possible, according to Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari.

And Nottingham Forest are ‘keeping a close eye’ on Solanke’s situation at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Forest want add more edge in attack and saw Lorenzo Lucca fail to perform when he joined on loan from Napoli in the winter transfer window.

In the recent campaign, Solanke was limited to just 15 Premier League appearances due to several injuries and contributed to just three goals.

How much Spurs would demand to part ways with Solanke, who they signed for approximately £55m plus add-ons just two seasons back, remains to be seen.

However, Solanke is not the only attacker with an uncertain future at N17, as Spurs could let go of his strike partner Richarlison, though the Brazilian forward’s ‘career plan’ has slowed things down.

Spurs themselves have been looking to add more firepower to their attack and the club are ‘in direct talks’ with Liverpool star Cody Gakpo’s entourage.

Gakpo would not replace Solanke and if the striker did go then De Zerbi would surely want a replacement.

It now remains to be seen whether Nottingham Forest send in a bid for Solanke and what reception that would get in north London.
