Nottingham Forest team news vs Spurs confirmed as Vitor Pereira makes selection call | OneFootball

Vitor Pereira has confirmed his Nottingham Forest XI for this afternoon’s Premier League trip to Tottenham Hotspur, making nine changes from midweek.

With eight games remaining, Forest sit one point behind Spurs and would go above them with a win. According to Nottingham Post, Pereira has reset his side for a crucial afternoon in north London.

The head coach is still seeking his first league victory with Forest, though he has guided them into the Europa League quarter-finals. Trailing after the first leg against FC Midtjylland, they won 2-1 on Thursday then prevailed 3-0 in the shootout.

Nikola Milenkovic and Omari Hutchinson keep their places as Forest revert to what is arguably their strongest line-up. Matz Sels returns in goal, with Stefan Ortega among the substitutes.

The back four is Ola Aina, Milenkovic, Murillo and Neco Williams. Ibrahim Sangare partners Elliot Anderson in midfield. Hutchinson joins Morgan Gibbs-White and Callum Hudson-Odoi behind striker Igor Jesus.

Many of Thursday’s starters are on the bench. The substitutes are Ortega, Morato, Taiwo Awoniyi, Dan Ndoye, Nicolas Dominguez, Ryan Yates, James McAtee, Luca Netz and Dilane Bakwa.
