Nottingham Forest to face Notts County as pre-season opener confirmed | OneFootball

Nottingham Forest have added a fourth pre-season friendly, with a short trip to Notts County to open their summer schedule. According to Nottingham Post, the Reds will spend 12 days in Portugal next month, where Vitor Pereira’s side will play three matches as part of their 2026/27 build-up.

The meeting with the newly-promoted League One side is at Meadow Lane on Saturday, July 18, kicking off at 3pm. Martin Paterson’s team host the neighbours in what will be Forest’s first run-out of the summer.

The clubs last met at Meadow Lane in 2023, when Forest won 1-0.

Forest have been allocated 6,001 tickets for the game, including 10 wheelchair positions in the Jimmy Sirrel Stand. Away fans will occupy 4,001 seats in the Jimmy Sirrel Stand and 2,000 in the Family Stand.

Tickets go on sale to season card holders at 10am tomorrow, June 30, then on general sale at 10am on Wednesday, July 1. Prices are £15 for adults aged 26 to 64, £12 for concessions aged 65+, 22-25 and students, £10 for young adults aged 18 to 21, £7 for youths aged 12-17 and £2 for children aged four to 11.

Forest will also face Blackburn Rovers at Estadio de Nora on Wednesday, July 22 at 11am BST, Vitoria behind closed doors on Sunday, July 26, and Sporting Lisbon at Estadio Algarve on Friday, July 31, kickoff to be confirmed. Streaming details and the full pre-season schedule will be confirmed in due course.
