Nottingham Forest will prioritise retaining the core of Vitor Pereira’s squad this summer, with a full overhaul unlikely. Key transfer calls lie ahead before the window opens on 15 June, with eyes on a 2026/27 European push.
According to Nottingham Post, Matz Sels should be kept, though he has 12 months left and back-up is required with Stefan Ortega and Angus Gunn set to depart as free agents. John Victor is also a keep, which may hinge on wider reshaping.
Neco Williams is a keep and a new deal is viewed as essential. Ola Aina stays, while Nicolo Savona could be sold if close to the £11 million outlay is recouped, and Luca Netz remains. Eric da Silva Moreira should be loaned, Murillo and Nikola Milenkovic are keeps, David Carmo and Morato are sells, Tyler Bindon should be loaned, and Jair Cunha and Zach Abbott are keeps.
Ryan Yates and Nicolas Dominguez are keeps. Ibrahim Sangare stays, with a new contract urged before his 2028 deal expires. Elliot Anderson is reluctantly a sell if Manchester City meet Forest’s valuation, Morgan Gibbs-White must be kept, and James McAtee is also retained.
Callum Hudson-Odoi, Dan Ndoye, Dilane Bakwa and Omari Hutchinson are keeps. Jota Silva should be sold after a Besiktas permanent move was ruled out. Up front, Taiwo Awoniyi is a sell if reinforcements arrive, Chris Wood and Igor Jesus are keeps, and Arnaud Kalimuendo should be sold, with Eintracht Frankfurt seeking a lower fee than his option.
