Nottingham Forest welcome Tottenham Hotspur to the City Ground on Sunday afternoon, desperate for points to pull away from the relegation zone.
Sean Dyche’s side sit precariously in 17th place. A heavy defeat to Everton last weekend has increased the pressure on the manager. However, Forest will take confidence from their recent record against Spurs.
They completed a league double over the North London side last season. Therefore, they will believe they can upset the odds again. Key to their chances will be finding the back of the net, as they are unbeaten in their last 11 league games in which they have scored.
Sean Dyche faces a nervous wait over the fitness of goalkeeper Matz Sels. The Belgian is a doubt with a groin issue, meaning Carlos Miguel is on standby. In defence, Murillo has returned to action midweek and is pushing for a start. He will likely partner Nikola Milenković in the centre of the backline.
The midfield is boosted by the return of Oleksandr Zinchenko and Douglas Luiz to the squad. However, Elliot Anderson and Morgan Gibbs-White are expected to feature in the starting XI. Ryan Yates is out with a thigh injury, joining a lengthy absentee list. Up front, Igor Jesus is expected to lead the line.
Nottingham Forest predicted XI: Sels; Savona, Milenković, Murillo, Williams; Sangaré, Anderson; Hutchinson, Gibbs-White, Ndoye; Jesus
