The Nou Mestalla’s seating plan is taking shape, with the Grada Jove confirmed for the first ring of the north stand, offering more than 2,000 places to concentrate the stadium’s young and vocal support.
According to Superdeporte, the stadium will hold 70,044, split across lower tier, middle tier, boxes and upper tier. The upper sections will contain 31,300 spectators, while the lower rings allocate significant space to hospitality, premium areas and adapted seating. VIP places total 6,500, close to 10 per cent of capacity.
Set close to the pitch within that first ring, the Grada Jove is positioned to become a visual and acoustic focal point. Its location contrasts with the current Mestalla, where the animation stand is in the south end, beneath the area once known as Gol Gran in the 1990s. The current section holds about 1,980 people, almost fully occupied, all season-ticket holders with personal, non-transferable passes.
The presence of this section reinforces the lower tier’s popular character despite the stadium’s strong premium focus. The first ring will reserve more than 2,000 seats for organised young support. It will be one of the venue’s most symbolic spaces, for its capacity and for the role it plays in the ground’s identity.
The lower tier will be the Nou Mestalla’s first major belt with 22,007 seats. It will be among the most varied levels, mixing seat types and audiences. Its main block comprises 18,248 standard seats, maintaining the popular core closest to the pitch.
