Novice referee to take charge of Santos v Chapecoense at Vila Belmiro | OneFootball

Pará official Fernando Antonio Mendes de Salles Nascimento Filho, 33, will take charge of Santos v Chapecoense at Vila Belmiro on Saturday at 18:30, the 20th round of the Brasileirão.

Rodrigo Figueiredo Henrique Correa and Acacio Menezes Leao are the assistants, with Pablo Ramon Goncalves Pinheiro on VAR.

Michelangelo Martins de Almeida Junior is fourth official and Sergio Cristiano Nascimento is the assessor. The VAR team also includes Helen Aparecida Goncalves Silva Araujo and Elmo Alves Resende Cunha, with Raimundo Nonato Lopo De Abreu as VAR observer and Maria Victoria Benetti Vargas as quality manager.

Fernando worked a Santos match earlier this year as fourth official, when Santos beat Chapecoense 4-2 at Arena Condá in the league opener.

Considered a newcomer at this level, he has few Série A appointments but has officiated in Série B, C and D, the Copa do Brasil, the Copa do Brasil Sub-20 and the Brasileiro Sub-20.
