Nunez ‘to join’ Trabzonspor on loan, reuniting with Mohamed Salah on bigger wage | OneFootball

Darwin Nunez looks set to reunite with Mohamed Salah at Trabzonspor next season, with the Uruguayan in line to earn the bigger wage.

Sözcü reports that Al-Hilal have agreed a one-season loan in the current window for the striker to join the Turkish side.

Nunez would retain his Al-Hilal salary of 22 million euros, five million more than Salah's 17 million at Trabzonspor.

The report said Trabzonspor will pay 8 million euros of that sum, with Al-Hilal covering the remaining 14 million.

Al-Hilal are keen to move Nunez on after he struggled in the first half of last season, then dropped off the domestic squad list in the second.

It would be their second spell together, following Liverpool from 2022 to 2025 before Nunez's move to Al-Hilal.

Salah was Liverpool's standout during that stretch, key to the club securing a second Premier League title after a five-year wait. He joined Trabzonspor this summer on a two-season deal, ending a nine-year Liverpool stint that began in 2017.
