Nuno Espirito Santo says he is convinced West Ham United can win their relegation fight with Leeds United and Nottingham Forest ahead of Saturday’s trip to Burnley. According to Leeds Live, he addressed supporters and rivals with an upbeat message.

The Hammers trail both clubs by six points after losing 3-2 at Chelsea last time out, having squandered a two-goal lead.

That setback followed back-to-back Premier League wins over Tottenham and Sunderland, offering a lifeline after a period of drift. January saw Pablo, Taty Castellanos and Adama Traore arrive, offset by the departure of talisman Lucas Paqueta.

Nuno noted that transfer aims depend on other clubs as much as their own intentions, and described January as a difficult market. He framed the window as rebalancing and focusing on what West Ham need for the run-in.

He added that he is totally convinced West Ham will be OK, stressing positivity, hard work and commitment, and an awareness of the stakes and responsibility. West Ham finish by hosting Leeds on 24 May.
