L'Équipe reports that Nuno Mendes has returned to Paris Saint-Germain’s squad for Saturday’s Ligue 1 trip to Angers at 19:00, while Vitinha continues individual work and is not expected to make the journey.
The medical bulletin is shorter than in recent weeks, a boost before Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final first leg against Bayern Munich at 21:00.
Vitinha went off early in the 1-2 defeat to Lyon, and his right heel inflammation is improving. He is unlikely to be involved this weekend as he continues to work alone.
Mendes had been managed after muscular discomfort against Liverpool and missed Wednesday’s 3-0 win at Nantes. Injured in the 2-0 quarter-final second leg on 14 April, the Portuguese left-back now appears ready to return.
Teenager Quentin Ndjantou remains out of the group and continues treatment. Fabian Ruiz, back from a long lay-off, has already featured against Lyon and Nantes.
