Antonio Nusa has been on Roma’s list for several days.
His name had already emerged as a potential outsider during the failed negotiations for Summerville, but discussions and evaluations continued thereafter.
Two aspects need to be clarified precisely.
The first concerns the player’s physical condition: there are no athletic or medical concerns. If there had been any doubts in this regard, Roma would have already put an end to any further investigations.
The second point concerns the player’s desire. Roma have received no negative signals from Antonio Nusa, the 2005-born attacking winger owned by Leipzig, who hasn’t expressed any opposition to a potential move to the Giallorossi.
The situation, therefore, is exclusively tied to negotiations with the German club. Leipzig are no easy partners, and the negotiations are complex, but Roma are still in the running and are continuing to monitor the situation.
Furthermore, the Germans have just sold Ivorian star Yan Diomandé to Real Madrid for €100 million, so they will be deprived of another great player like Nusa.
