Insight into Aston Villa‘s current transfer plans has emerged, with a Turkish journalist claiming to have ‘obtained’ information from the Villa camp.
Following a hugely successful campaign for Aston Villa, which even included silverware in the shape of the Europa League, there is big interest in what they do in the summer transfer window.
Unai Emery’s men are being linked with players from all across the globe, while there are equal eyes on who might leave Villa Park in the coming months.
There has been speculation over attacking midfielder Emi Buendia, who has experienced a resurgence of sorts at the club.
Now it has been claimed that Aston Villa will hold talks over a new deal for Buendia, but are prepared to sell him if he does not sign.
The chances that Villa will seek to sell him are rated as ‘very high’.

Turkish journalist Ferhat Kiziltas lifted the lid, revealing information he ‘obtained from the Aston Villa camp’, with snippets about Gabriel Sara, Jonathan Rowe, Harvey Barnes, Karim Adeyemi and Crysencio Summerville.
He wrote on X: “I’m directly relaying the information I obtained from the Aston Villa camp: Contract talks with Emiliano Buendia will begin after June 30.
“If no agreement is reached with the Argentine player, who has one year left on his contract, he will be placed on the transfer list. This possibility is very high.
“There’s information that Galatasaray is also tracking Buendia. If there’s movement in the Sara transfer, Buendia could be included in that deal.

“Aston Villa is in talks with Jonathan Rowe, Harvey Barnes, Adeyemi, and Summerville for the wing positions.
“Unai Emery wants to rejuvenate the wings a bit more with younger players.”
Villa have been linked with multiple wingers across Europe and Emery does appear to want to shake up that position heading into next season.
Aston Villa have been keen on Bologna’s winger Rowe for several months, but they have been warned that the English winger is not on the market.
Buendia has made it clear that he only wants to join River Plate if he returns to his homeland, but there are no signs he is set on going back to Argentina yet.
A switch to Turkey could potentially appeal to the player, especially as it would see him fight for trophies and play in the Champions League.
