One of the players to have broken through during RC Lens’ excellent campaign, Andrija Bulatovic (19), has signed a contract extension with the club, as confirmed on Wednesday. 

Bulatovic joined Lens from Buducnost Podgorica for a fee of €1.7m last January before then completing the season in his native Montenegro. He joined up with his new teammates in the summer, and he has needed little time to bed into his new surroundings. 

14 appearances for Bulatovic this season

The midfielder has already played 14 games this season, scoring twice and registering one assist. His two goals have both come in Les Sang et Or’s Coupe de France run. The Montenegro international’s (six caps) deal had been set to expire in 2028, however, in light of his performances for the first team this season, he has been rewarded with a new deal that will run until the summer of 2030.
