Official: Barcelona announce Joaquín Delgado signing | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have on Saturday announced a fresh addition to the club’s reserve team ranks.

This comes amid confirmation of a deal being put in place for Joaquín Delgado to make his way to Catalunya’s capital.

As per a statement across Barca’s Atlètic’s website and social media platforms:

‘FC Barcelona and Real Oviedo have reached an agreement for the loan of Joaquín Delgado until June 30, 2026, with an option to buy at the end of the season.’

Delgado, for his part, is a 23-year-old attacker, who chiefly lines out in a centre-forward role.

The Spaniard arrives in Barcelona to add some much-needed firepower to an under-manned frontline under the watch of Juliano Belletti.

Delgado has since been cast straight into the spotlight by his new club, afforded a starting berth in Barca Atlètic’s latest outing.

The Blaugrana’s reserve outfit are currently locked in action in a meeting with Club Esportiu Andratx.
