Following a hard-fought 4-3 win over Celta Vigo in their last match, FC Barcelona are set to continue their charge towards the La Liga title as they face Mallorca tonight at the Montjuic.
The Catalans remain four points clear of Real Madrid, who also won their game against Athletic Club on Sunday, and will be looking to ensure they get the full three points from tonight’s game to ensure they remain in a comfortable position as the La Liga campaign nears its end.
Barcelona have announced the squad for this game, as Hansi Flick has called up 22 players. Although the German coach recently revealed that Marc Andre Ter Stegen is now ready to return to action, he is not a part of this squad, and will have to wait till Saturday to make the squad list once again.
Robert Lewandowski is also not a part of this list, as he suffered a physical problem in the last match and is expected to remain unavailable for around three weeks. Similarly, Alejandro Balde, Marc Casado, and Marc Bernal also remain unavailable for this match.
The rest of the squad is similar to the one announced for the game against Vigo. However, Flick might rest some of his regular starters in this game, as the team has been playing a very high number of matches in this last stretch of the season, and also have the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid scheduled up next on Saturday.
The full squad announced by Barcelona for this game is as follows:
Goalkeepers:
Defenders:
Midfielders:
