FC Barcelona will be kicking off their game against RCD Mallorca shortly at the Spotify Camp Nou. Both teams will want to get a positive result for themselves, but the Catalan giants will only accept a win given their form and quality.

Fortunately, there is enough quality in this squad for Hansi Flick to expect a win in this game. While some key players are missing, the German coach has managed to put together a strong eleven to start the game.

Here is the official starting eleven for the home side.

In goal, Joan Garcia starts for Barça unsurprisingly. The Spanish goalkeeper has been   solid this season so far and will look to make life difficult for the Mallorca forward.

As for the centre-back partnership, Hansi Flick has decided to trust Pau Cubarsi and Eric Garcia to hold things down. Both Spanish defenders will have a lot on their plate, but they have the quality to deal with it.

On the flanks, Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde retain their starting positions and they will look to add more width to the team’s attacks. However, they will need to be careful with their defensive duties as well.

Ahead of them, Marc Casado and Dani Olmo start together in a two-man pivot in midfield. While Frenkie de Jong starts on the bench for this game, both of the starters will need to show their quality and intensity.

As for the attack, Lamine Yamal and Marcus Rashford occupy the right and left wings respectively. In between them, Fermin Lopez gets the nod for the central attacking midfield position.

Lastly, up top, Robert Lewandowski starts for Barcelona and he will look to convert the chances that the team creates for him. However, he will need to ensure that he is clinical and consistent with his pressing as well.
