The final home game of the season has arrived for FC Barcelona, and La Blaugrana will be taking on Real Betis in this La Liga fixture at the Spotify Camp Nou. With the league title already sealed following their victory in El Clasico, Hansi Flick knows that there is not much to play for in this game.
However, this fixture just so happens to be the last ever appearance for Robert Lewandowski in front of the home crowd as a Barcelona player considering the fact that he is set to leave the club this summer. Keeping that in mind, Flick has decided to field a competent starting eleven to ensure that he gets the farewell that he deserves.
Here is the official starting line-up for the Catalan giants.
In goal, Joan Garcia has been selected to protect the team’s goal and put a stop to Real Betis and their attacking threat. He will need to be sharp to make the saves that will need to be made while also being quick with the ball at his feet.
Ahead of him, Eric Garcia and Gerard Martin have been chosen to start as the team’s centre-back duo. Both of them will have to be alert to maintain the team’s high line while simultaneously distributing the ball quickly and efficiently to the players up ahead and on the sides.

Speaking of the sides, the full-backs for this game are Joao Cancelo and Jules Kounde on the left and right flanks respectively. They will be expected to provide defensive cover in the wide areas while also making sure that the forwards in front of them have assistance in attack as well.
In the midfield, Pedri and Bernal start together as the team’s double pivot in the middle of the pitch. From ensuring control of the ball to winning their duels, the two midfield players will be expected to contest for the ball as much as possible and ensuring that their forwards and attacking players are fed passes to create more danger.
Moving forward, Raphinha and Fermin Lopez will be starting as the wide forwards of the team while Gavi starts in between them as the team’s central attacking midfielder. All three of them will need to apply pressure on the Real Betis defense and look to find the back of the net as well.
Lastly, up top, Robert Lewandowski starts for Barcelona in what will be his final game for the club in front of the home supporters. For that reason, the Polish veteran will be looking to deliver a good performance while also trying to find the back of the net himself if possible.
