Official: Bowie joins Sassuolo in €10.5m deal, Mulattieri move to Verona | OneFootball

Scotland international striker Kieron Bowie has officially joined Sassuolo from Hellas Verona in a deal believed to be worth €10.5m, with Samuele Mulattieri going the other way.

The negotiations had been at an advanced stage and all the details were finalised today, including medical tests and contracts.

It was announced that Bowie has made the move to Sassuolo on loan with an option to buy that becomes an obligation if certain conditions are met.

The reports have put the price of the operation at €10.5m, while Mulattieri’s move is valued at €4.5m.

There had also been interest in Bowie from Cagliari, Bologna and Celtic.

Bowie turns 24 in September and has two senior caps for Scotland, having been born in Kirkaldy.

He came to Serie A in January 2026 from Hibernian at a cost of €6m and made an immediate impact, scoring four goals and providing one assist in 14 games.

Meanwhile, the two clubs also confirmed that striker Mulattieri has moved to Verona on loan with an option to buy, becoming an obligation if certain conditions are met.

He has just returned from a loan experience with Deportivo La Coruna.
