PSG winger Bradley Barcola (23) has sustained a severe right ankle ligament sprain during Tuesday’s Champions League RO16 return leg between Les Parisiens and Chelsea FC. The Olympique Lyonnais Academy product pulled off with an injury last night at Stamford in the second half of a game in which Barcola scored PSG’s second goal.

PSG have confirmed that Barcola will be out of action for several weeks, which compromised his chances of making Didier Deschamps’ squad for France’s US tour in late March. L’Equipe adds that the PSG winger, who was on a purple patch with four goals in as many games, will return in a month. If Barcola is indeed out for a month, he’ll play no part in the Champions League quarter-finals for which PSG have qualified yesterday.
