Official | Chelsea recall Caleb Wiley to loan him to Watford | OneFootball

Chelsea loanee Caleb Wiley (20) has been recalled from his loan at BlueCo-owned Ligue 1 side RC Strasbourg, both clubs have announced. The USMNT defender will spend the remainder of the campaign at EFL Championship club Watford. Wiley has only made six appearances since he joined the Ligue 1 club on loan from his parent club in the summer – totalling a mere 246 minutes of action.

With Wiley set to join Watford, this frees up a loan spot for Strasbourg. They currently have two players on loan from their sister club – Andrey Santos and Djordje Petrovic. The Alsatian outfit could therefore see another player arrive on a temporary basis from the Premier League before the window closes. It could be Saint-Etienne midfielder Mathis Amougou.
