Official: Elche announce permanent signing | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Elche have on Wednesday announced the latest permanent addition to the club’s first-team ranks. The player to have put pen to paper on terms at the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero? Víctor Chust.

Defender Chust spent the duration of the 2025/26 campaign plying his trade on loan in the colours of Elche.

After being snapped up from 2nd division outfit Cádiz, the 26-year-old went on to play a leading role for his temporary employers.

All told, Chust took to the pitch in 31 of Elche’s 38 La Liga fixtures, chipping in with a solitary goal as the Franjiverdes staved off relegation.

And as alluded to above, this week, such efforts on the part of the stopper have been firmly rewarded.

As per a statement across Elche’s website and social media platforms:

‘Elche CF has exercised the purchase option agreed with Cádiz CF for the permanent incorporation of Víctor Chust, who is linked to the green and white club until June 2029.’
