ESTAC Troyes have completed the signing of journeyman midfielder Iron Gomis (26), it was confirmed on Thursday.

Troyes are preparing for a return to Ligue 1 next season. The club have already been plundered with Mathys Detourbet and Martin Adeline both leaving already this summer. The summer has joined Manchester City before being loaned out to AS Monaco, whilst the latter has joined Hamburg. 

There is a need to add numbers and quality in the centre of the park and the club have now completed the signing of Gomis on a free transfer. Having come through the ranks at SC Amiens, he has gone on to play for USL Dunkerque, Kasimpasa, Salernitana, and Zira FC. The latter, based in Azerbaijan, is Gomis’ most recent club. His contract there expired this summer and he has now completed a return to his native France, signing a two-year deal with Ligue 1 side L’ESTAC.
