Sevilla FC have officially announced the signing of Arouna Sangante (24) from Le Havre AC. The centre-back, whose contract expires at the end of this season, has signed a five-year deal with Los Rojiblancos, keeping him at the club until June 2031.
Having played for Red Star in his youth, the Mbao, Senegal-born player continued his development at the Normandy club’s academy, where he made his professional debut in January 2021. With nearly 150 appearances for HAC and a Ligue 2 title won at the end of the 2022-23 season, Sangante has risen through the ranks, eventually being named captain of the club.
A key player for Didier Digard last season, the right-footed player started in each of the 29 matches he played across all competitions, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
Now aged 24, Sangante is set to experience the first foreign league of his career, joining a team that narrowly finished 13th in the table, just one point above the relegation zone, at the end of the 2025-26 season.
