Olympique Lyonnais have officially announced the signing of Mohamed Ouédraogo (23) from SCR Altach for a fee of €2.2m, to which bonuses of up to €0.6m and a 10 per cent share of any future transfer profit may be added.
Born in Burkina Faso, the full-back played for SC Majestic before moving to Europe in the winter of 2023. After initially coming through the youth ranks at Altach, he went on to join the first team, where he made 72 appearances, scoring five goals and providing four assists.
An attacking-minded player, Ouédraogo made 35 appearances in all competitions during the 2025-26 season, scoring four goals, providing three assists and establishing himself as one of his team’s key players.
A Burkina Faso international with nine caps, he becomes OL’s fourth summer signing, following the arrivals of Kaïl Boudache (19), Mads Bidstrup (25) and Julien Duranville (20). A spate of early signings that should enable Les Gones to prepare as well as possible for their Champions League qualifying rounds.
