It's official for Moroccan international Ilias Akhomach.

Fresh from his return from AFCON 2025, Moroccan winger Ilias Akhomach is set for a change of scenery. Villarreal officially announced this Wednesday that their winger has been loaned to Rayo Vallecano until the end of the season.

Before that, the player, who came up through the ranks at FC Barcelona, extended his contract with the Yellow Submarine for an additional season, keeping him at the club until June 2028.
