In a decisive turn of events, Moroccan international Amine Harit has chosen his Turkish destination. After turning down a formal approach from Beşiktaş, the playmaker has instead committed to Istanbul Başakşehir FK.

The move, now officially confirmed by the Süper Lig club on their social media channels, sees Harit join on a season-long loan from Olympique de Marseille, with a negotiated option to make the transfer permanent.

The Moroccan international's current contract with Olympique de Marseille binds him to the French club until June 30, 2027. With a market valuation of €8 million according to Transfermarkt, the midfielder previously commanded an annual salary of €3,100,000 during his tenure in Ligue 1.
