With the 2026 FIFA World Cup only a few weeks away, England manager Thomas Tuchel has announced the final 26-man squad list for the summer extravaganza.
And, as expected, Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has been included in the squad by Tuchel, but there is no place for Trent Alexander-Arnold on the list.
Bellingham has long been a key player for England, although the Real Madrid midfielder found himself being out of Tuchel’s plans in the past few international breaks, largely due to fitness issues.
While he was a part of the squad in the previous international break in March, Bellingham returned to Madrid without playing even a single minute for the Three Lions.
Despite that, he has now been named in the final World Cup squad by Tuchel.
As for Trent, the Real Madrid summer signing has been out of favour under the German tactician ever since he took over the reins.
The right-back was not called up for even a single international break during the current season. So when his name was included in the preliminary squad by Tuchel it came as quite a surprise.
However, in the end, Trent remains out of the final squad that will be flying to North America next month for the World Cup.
