Official: Roma appoint Galantic as new CEO | OneFootball

Roma have officially announced that they have appointed John Galantic as the club’s new CEO, two years after the departure of Lina Souloukou.

“Today we are very proud to announce John Galantic as Chief Executive Officer of AS Roma,” read a statement on the club website.

“John has led several global companies at the highest level, most recently in Italy. He knows Italian sport and business, having served on the boards of AS Roma and Ferrari.

“As an American-Swiss national of Italian origin — he is a lifelong Romanista. John loves and understands this city, its fans and what this club means to them.

“We firmly believe he is the right man to lead this club into its second century. His appointment comes in a season of new beginnings. We return to the Champions League — earned through sacrifice on the pitch, and impossible without the loyalty of the greatest supporters in football, and on July 22, we began the celebration of Roma’s Centennial.

“Please join us in welcoming John to the club. FORZA ROMA!”

Galantic is an American-born executive who grew up in Boston and graduated with a degree from the Harvard Business School.

He has held roles with Procter & Gamble, GlaxoSmithKline and Coty Beauty, and served as an executive with Chanel for 16 years. Since 2023, Galantic has also been on the board of directors with Ferrari and Bacardi Limited.
