Official: Roma fans from Lazio banned from Venezia match | OneFootball

On Sunday at 12:30, Ranieri’s Roma will face Venezia, led by former Roma manager Eusebio Di Francesco.

The Giallorossi, however, will not be able to count on their fans following the official ban on away matches imposed on supporters from the Lazio region.

The decision was taken by the Prefecture of Venice and concerns, according to Ansa, residents in the Lazio region as well as those in the provinces of Udine and Pordenone.

The ban is due to the possible disturbances that are expected following the clashes between fans from Venezia and Udinese that occurred last Sunday.

The Prefecture fears “revenge” by the Friuli fans, supported by the Roma fans given the friendship between the two fan bases.
