Official: Tudor confirms Juventus squad for Roma – Three in, two out | OneFootball

Igor Tudor has confirmed his travelling Juventus squad for Sunday’s Serie A match away against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico, with two players returning and two players dropping out after last week’s 1-0 victory over Genoa.

It is a massive game in the race for European football next season, as Juventus currently occupy fifth place with 55 points, while Roma, the division’s form team, sit just behind them in sixth on 52.

Tudor confirmed during his pre-match press conference that both Andrea Cambiaso and Douglas Luiz have returned to training in the build-up to the Roma clash in the capital. He admitted that neither will start, but both are back in the squad and are in contention to feature.

There are two absentees compared to last week’s squad: Federico Gatti is set for a spell on the sidelines with a broken Fibula.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Mattia Perin is struggling with a muscular injury and has not been called up to the matchday squad. He has reportedly travelled with the team anyway, though. Next Gen stopper Giovanni Daffara has been called up to make up the numbers.

Goalkeepers: Di Gregorio, Pinsoglio, Daffara.

Defenders: Alberto Costa, Kelly, Renato Veiga, Kalulu, Cambiaso, Savona, Rouhi.

Midfielders: Locatelli, Koopmeiners, McKennie, Thuram, Douglas Luiz.

Forwards: Vlahovic, Kolo Muani, Conceicao, Yildiz, N.Gonzalez, Weah, Mbangula.
