Fédération Française de Football has announced that Zinédine Zidane’s first game as Les Bleus manager has been sold out already. The former Real Madrid head coach officially succeeded Didier Deschamps in the France dugout on Tuesday. Zidane has penned a four-year contract as head of Les Bleus. 

Zidane will start his tenure as France’s national team manager with a raft of six UEFA Nations League games against Turkey, Italy and Belgium sandwiched between September and November. Zidane will make his France managerial debut against Turkey on September 25 at Izmit. After another away game, three days later, against Belgium in Brussels, France will return on home soil, against Roberto Mancini’s Azzurri.

Zidane’s France will rely on a 80,000-strong Stade de France crowd, given that their October 2 game against the four-time World Cup winners is already sold out.
