Club captain Dante will return for OGC Nice this evening, against FC Porto in the UEFA Europa League, as Franck Haise’s side go in search of their first point of the European campaign.

Dante has missed several weeks with a knee injury, and he has been missed. But the 42-year-old, now in his final season, has made the trip to Portugal and L’Équipe understands that he will start in the defence.

There are no new absentees for Nice to contend with, with Youssouf Ndayishimiye, Moise Bombito, and Mohamed Abdelmonem all out. Hicham Bouadoui was another player who missed last weekend’s defeat to local rivals Olympique de Marseille, but he too is expected to start.

Terem Moffi is not expected to start. Instead, Mohamed-Ali Cho and Sofiane Diop are set to lead the line for Le Gym.
