OL loans in Ligue 2, contrasting paths for Alejandro Gomes Rodriguez and Enzo Molebe | OneFootball

OL’s 18-year-old forwards are experiencing contrasting starts on loan in Ligue 2. One is getting plenty of minutes without much impact, the other is making short cameos yet already proving decisive. Gomes Rodriguez is at Annecy, Molebe at Montpellier.

According to Le Progres, despite a limited attacking output in the first half of the season, underlined by the heavy use of an out-of-sorts Satriano, neither Molebe nor Gomes Rodriguez truly convinced Paulo Fonseca.

During that period, he gave Molebe 67 minutes and Gomes Rodriguez 41.

Believing in their potential, OL’s coaches and executives sent the 18-year-old forwards on late winter-window loans to nearby Ligue 2 clubs, with no option to buy.

The moves are being tracked closely by the club staff, notably Mathieu Louis-Jean.
